Back at home.

After spending a few days in the US last week, it was nice to be back home and into routine again.

17 September 2012 - Rebecca's bus stop.

18 September 2012 - At the afternoon bus stop...with her Bible (that she carries everywhere with her.)

19 September 2012 - Fall colours were really starting to show, so I thought I would take a picture of the kids at the park...they didn't really cooperate.

20 September 2012 - We met my sister at Cardel Place for a gym day and picnic lunch.

21 September 2012 - Auntie Chantal & Uncle Dan were over for supper, and of course the girls invited Chantal to their Beauty Salon for nails and makeup.  :-)

22 September 2012 - At the carwash with Auntie Ang & Eli.  The kids loved the rainbow soap.

23 September 2012 - Mike's birthday today, so after church service we went to the Olive Garden for lunch to celebrate.

I'm not too late this week, just a couple of days. Life has been crazy busy (as usual!)

10 September 2012 - Ana has recently figured out how to pour juice without spilling, and is quite proud of herself.

11 September 2012 - A cold, cold walk to the bus today.  Ana is hiding under her blanket in the wagon.

12 September 2012 - Getting ready for our big road trip...starting the day off with pancakes and syrup. A real treat since we have been on our diet for over a month & a half.

13 September 2012 - Jesse at the big truck in Sparwood, BC.

14 September 2012 - Getting a pedicure in the van before we start driving home.

15 September 2012 - Lunch stop at McDonald's, with ice cream for dessert! (Again, a big treat...haven't had it in over a month either).

16 September 2012 - Sometimes they can be soooo cute!

We took a 4 day trip down to Post Falls, Idaho (by Coeur D'Alene) for a workshop with Real Life Ministries.  It was a long drive, but a great workshop.  The kids came too, and spend the days (and nights!) with Grandma Brenda and Grandpa John.  They got to go to the beach and on walks and had all sorts of fun.  I got to go shopping with the ladies at Target, Jo-Ann's (fabric for Halloween costumes!), and got my favorite drink from Sonic.  I was so excited when I saw Sonic right by our hotel...  :-)  We got back from the workshop and jumped right back into business.  Sunday was our fall launch at Maryvale, so Mike had two worship services to lead.  The kids Sunday school classes started up again, and Ana got her beloved Bible in the preschool class.  She absolutely loves it and carries it with her everywhere.  

Three weeks of pictures

I am terrible at getting pictures put up on time!  Three weeks behind again.  Oh well, here they are...

20 August 2012 - Poor Ana crashed on the floor after a fun/long day at Auntie Angie's.

21 August 2012 - Rebecca's "silver" tooth...Jesse and Ana are quite jealous.

22 August 2012 - I had the trains upstairs from a few days ago when a little boy was visiting.  Our kids have not played with trains in a long time...but they were quite happy to play today!  The old becomes new.

23 August 2012 - I didn't have a picture for today.  This is from Sunday.  Jesse is in Mike's office at the church building...and looking all cool with his gold coins behind the big desk.

24 August 2012 - Eli came over today to stay for a sleepover.  The kids are always excited to have him around.

25 August 2012 - The next day...Eli and Ana were babies.  Rebecca was the mom of course.  The babies cried a lot.

26 August 2012 - At the church building again.  We have to go an hour early for Mike to set up, so the girls had fun drawing in Mike's office.

27 August 2012 - Awesome day.  One of Mike's pilot students is a lieutenant with the Calgary Fire Department.  He took us up and down the Bow River through Calgary on the CFD boat.  Mike and I even got to drive.  So cool.  

28 August 2012 - Another day over at Angie's.  Today the kids painted old bed sheets and loved it.

29 August 2012 - Back to Angie's again.  The kids insisted that she needed a birthday party (and I agreed!) So we baked carrot cake cookies, sandwiched them together with pink (Rebecca's choice) icing and took them over for a birthday party supper.  

30 August 2012 - We tried making a big water pillow today.  But, I only had the cheap dollar store plastic so the kids soon popped holes in it.  They had fun doing it though!

31 August 2012 - A little nap for Anastasia.  I love how her feet are together.  :-)

6 Sept 2012 - Ana and my little girl I watch twice a week...in the wagon to the bus stop to pick up the big kids.

7 Sept 2012 - I bought this vanity for the girls at a garage sale on the walk home from the bus.  They call it their "Beauty Salon Makeover".

8 Sept 2012 - Grandma Brenda and Grandpa John came over for supper (last night) and of course, the girls kept asking if Grandma wanted a makeover.  Grandma finally agreed, so she could get a chance to visit with the us other adults after.
