Two weeks of pictures!  I guess that's what happens when you have a long weekend and forget until mid-week that you haven't posted anything yet...

13 May 2012 - Rebecca got an early birthday party this year.  This is post party, reading her new book with Eva and Eli.

14 May 2012 - New bubble gun from Eli for her birthday!

15 May 2012 - Silly boys...taunting the girls from the other side of the fence.

16 May 2012 - Rebecca's actual birthday.  We all went out for supper to celebrate.

17 May 2012 - The new hammock arrived today.  In this picture Rebecca is saying, "I'm a striped banana."

18 May 2012 - Out to Pine Lake Christian Camp for the weekend...our first night we got some delicious cookies for snack before bed.

19 May 2012 - Playing in the sandbox at camp.

20 May 2012 - Jesse's favorite thing about camp...the archery range.  Mike was happy to oblige.

21 May 2012 - Time to head home...

22 May 2012 - Rebecca got her ears pierced!

23 May 2012 - I went on a field trip with Jesse's class to a festival downtown.  This is the boys singing karaoke.

24 May 2012 - "Welcome to my pin shop."  Give the girls some clothes pins and they are entertained for quite a while.  They played "pin shop", counted them, sorted by color and all sorts of creative things.

25 May 2012 - How to play in the sandbox when it's raining (barely a drizzle today...)

26 May 2012 - Jesse goofing off in the hammock.  He thought it was quite fun to spin around upside down and not fall out.

There you have it...two busy weeks including birthday parties, soccer games (but hey - no soccer pictures!) and a long weekend.  I have more pictures from our weekend at camp that I will eventually get up on dropshots.  See you next week.

Another week gone by...this was a busy one with all the party prep for Rebecca's birthday bash on Sunday (those pictures next week), and a visit from family on Friday, plus the regular business of our lives right now.  Enjoy the pics!  

6 May 2012 - The kids love cotton candy!  

7 May 2012 - A lunch with our friends.  (Rebecca is the orange box, Ana is the blue box, and Seth is the green box.  The kids thought this was quite hilarious.)

8 May 2012 - Have you guessed what we do every Tuesday and Thursday after supper?  Yet another soccer game...

9 May 2012 - On the way home from school today Jesse said he wanted to pick up all the garbage someone had thrown on the grass by the park.  I commented that I didn't have a garbage bag to carry it all in, so we picked up as much as we could and carried it home to throw away.  I guess my many comments about how throwing garbage on the ground is disrespectful have paid off!

10 May 2012 - A perfect day for a hotdog lunch in the backyard!

11 May 2012 - Great Grandma Viv and Great Grandpa Shelby were in town and came for a visit this afternoon.  Grandma read a book to the three kids that weren't at school. 

12 May 2012 - Mike was at work again, so the kids and I went out for the morning.  A quick trip to the chiropractor, followed by a bit of shopping, and then to M&M Meats charity BBQ to pick up some burgers which we took down to the lake to eat.  This "lake" is right in the middle of our community, though we have never walked over to it.  Quite a pretty area!

29 April 2012 - Nothing like a S'more before bed time.  :-)

30 April 2012 - The girls and I were out running errands and stopped at Tim Hortons for a treat before heading home.  They just wanted their Nerds and a chocolate milk.  

1 May 2012 - First soccer game!  But it was cancelled because of the weather.  Mike, Ana and Rebecca still went out and played for a while though.

2 May 2012 - While Brenda and I enjoyed getting our hair done, the girls played quietly downstairs.  Little did we know, they were busy throwing a party, complete with a full bag of sequins for decoration.  Rebecca had to clean them up!

 3 May 2012 - Our first soccer game...take 2.  Mike couldn't come (and he is the coach) so it was interesting with a substitute coach, but it all went okay.  It was freezing cold (literally, probably a few degrees above freezing).  Jesse and Rebecca play on the same team.  This is Jesse making a save while he played in goal...and Rebecca is sitting off right now (right beside the net.)

4 May 2012 - We had some extra kiddos around today.  Brenda was babysitting some kids from their church, and brought them over so everybody could play together.  Here are the 6 kids and Grandpa John!

5 May 2012 - I could not believe the snow we got today!  Mike was busy out at a work bee for Pine Lake Christian Camp; Jesse was at a sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa; so we packed up and went to visit our friends for the afternoon (since their dad was busy with church stuff too.)  I had a great visit with Chelsey (and managed to get some sewing done), and the kids loved playing with Eva.

(It snowed for hours and hours today...we got more than this, but at least it all melted quickly!)
