Week 4...Pictures 22-28

22 January 2012 - John the Baptist came to our Sunday School class this week. 

23 January 2012 - Rebecca really, really likes chicken wings (aka - "chicken bones").

24 January 2012 - Mike and Jesse went down to a fire hall to visit a friend who works there.

25 January 2012 - Mike and Jesse practising reading in French.

26 January 2012 - We had lots of fun food today...dinner in a pumpkin, frothy pink milk, yummy peanut butter squares (so good that Mike claims he would rather eat these than Reese Peanut Butter Cups), and little Ana with icing sugar all over her face from trying to lick it all from the measuring cup.

27 January 2012 - Sleepover at Grandma Brenda and Grandpa John's.  Mike, Dan, Chantal and I went for a movie together after a family supper (cousin Eli was even over for supper!)

28 January 2012 - Family outing today!  We went skating at Bowness Park.  First time for Rebecca on real skates.  She did great.  

Why, hello again!

It's been a really long time since I wrote on this blog.  In fact, in the last post, we were still living in Texas.  It was 6 days before Anastasia was born.  The blog was even still named "Tales from Texas".  So I had to do a bit of editing...changing pictures and info.  The design isn't quite where I would like it, but it will do for now.

My friend, Chelsey, has started a photo project for the year...taking a photo a day to share.  I liked the idea and thought this would be a nice place to upload them.  The plan is to do it once a week as I don't actually get on the computer much.  Who knows, maybe there will even be an actual story now and again.  So...here we go - Days 1 through 21!

16 January 2012 - Jesse and his Christmas crafts.

17 January 2012 - Minus 38C and waiting for the school bus.

18 January 2012 - Colder yet...

19 January 2012 - Rebecca loves Grandma Bonnie's antipasta.

20 January 2012 - The girls got extensions from Dollarama.  They love having long hair!

21 January 2012 - One of my keepsakes from Texas...containing some homemade biscotti at the moment.
